New Delhi, April 2024: Executive Director Prof. Peter Quartey and ReFinD team members pose for a group photo with the Inclusion Economics India Centre (IEIC) team ahead of a networking session with research institutions, organized as part of RFP3 stakeholder engagement activities.
ReFinD is pleased to extend our gratitude to the applicants of the third ReFinD request for proposals (RFP3), which closed on May 31, 2024. The RFP, which opened on March 25, 2024, was accompanied by a series of stakeholder engagement activities aimed at deepening awareness about the grant opportunity among targeted research institutions, particularly those in Asia. These activities included an in-person networking session in New Delhi and a webinar, both organized in collaboration with Inclusion Economics India Centre (IEIC), primarily targeting Asia-based research communities. These activities contributed to attracting more applications from Asia than in the previous two rounds.
“I am delighted by the increased participation we’ve seen from Asia in this year’s request for proposals. It’s particularly gratifying to note that we received applications from Asia across all five grant categories, alongside continued strong participation from Africa.” Project Director Adadzewa Otoo said.
“I thank all applicants for their interest in the ReFinD research initiative and for their contributions to the success of the third round of ReFinD request for proposals.”
Successful applicants will be contacted in due course. Meanwhile, we encourage all stakeholders to stay connected with us via the ReFinD website and our social media pages on Twitter and LinkedIn for prompt updates on our activities and future funding opportunities.
