A team from the Retail and Finance Distribution (ReFinD) research initiative, participated in the Evidence to Action 2022 Conference held at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. Over five days, the two-member team, led by Dr. Agyapomaa Gyeke-Dako, Acting Project Director, hosted an exhibition and engaged in networking activities aimed at building awareness and support for ReFinD.

Participants at the conference visited the ReFinD stand to hear more about the new research initiative at ISSER, including information on research aims and objectives, and how people can engage with collaboration opportunities.

Organised by the International Centre of Evaluation and Development (ICED), under the theme Adapting Innovative Evaluation Practices for Evidence-Based Decisio- Making During & Beyond the Covid-19 Pandemic, the conference sought to create a common platform for African researchers and development partners to share and discuss innovations and evidence-based research that will advance Africa’s agenda.
